Watery Wednesday - A Snowy Day in Flanders

The weather this year has certainly been unusal.

And in Belgium, snow hasn't fallen to this extent for over 40 years!
So we took a walk one morning this past December and enjoyed the beauty of the newly fallen snow.

I am participating in "Watery Wednesday" where you can see some more amazing photographs

  1. I was thinking, what a pretty little stream in winter, but if they have not had this much snow in so many years, I suppose they must really be revelling in this unique experience! Here, it is the norm!
    I LOVE the photo of the Eiffel Tower in the fog, in your header!!!!! Wow!!

  5. The ice in that little brook isn't quite thick enough to skate on. Darn!

    THE WATER PIPES ARE FREEZING

    The water pipes are freezing,
    I cannot get a drink;
    The water pipes are freezing
    Underneath the sink.

    I wish some kindly plumber
    Would come with flame and wrench,
    So I could get some water
    My raging thirst to quench!

  6. It looks a bit icy on the water. The disruptive winter should be coming to an end although this looks pleasant and picturesque.
