I took this picture while visiting Lisbon this past January. This fountain is called "Luminous Fountain and is in Empire Square, located in the tourist area of Belem.
It's lovely, Debbie! You saw far more of Lisbon than I did, so your photos give me a better feel for the city. I didn't see this fountain although I was in the Belem area. E you in a bit. -- K

This photo is so gorgeous. I friend of mine told me that visiting Europe you can't put down your camera everything around is picturesque. Happy Wednesday! Watery Wednesday
Hi, Debbie! I recently posted a similar photo on my 'Oeiras and environs' blog. :-) Your photos are wonderful and this blog is just great. By the way, I've never seen those houses (I think it is Tavira) with steps to the river... Thank you! :-)
It is a gorgeous fountain. Beautiful photo from yoru travels, thanks for sharing your watery Wednesday.
ReplyDeleteWell that sure is beautiful! Hmmm, I think you had more fun in January than I did. :)

It's beautiful!
ReplyDeleteWhy are the Europeans (and Latin Americans) ever so much better at "doing fountains" than North Americans?
ReplyDeleteWATERY SATISFACTION
Puddles of water and drops of dew—
What does it take to satisfy you?
A rushing river, a roiling sea—
That’s what it takes to satisfy me!
